Reading Buses

The new ‘aqua 28’ route will run every 30 minutes Mondays-Saturdays and up to every hour evenings and Sundays.

The introduction of this route follows the recent announcement from Arriva that they are closing their High Wycombe and Aylesbury operations after 27 July, including the 800/850 bus routes that serve this corridor.

Aqua 28: Central Reading, Friar Street - Henley on Thames, Bell Street

The college day starts at 9.00 am. The following services will arrive into Henley on Thames during the times below. Please try to catch an earlier service to reduce the risk of a bus reaching its maximum capacity and risk being turned away.

simply Wokingham & reading zone Tickets

The simplyWokingham & Reading zone covers buses between Wokingham & Reading, but also includes buses from Arborfield, Shinfield, Spencers Wood, Burghfield Common, Sonning Common and Henley on Thames. For customers in these areas who travel to and from Reading, this means you don't need to buy a simplyNetwork ticket (unless you are travelling elsewhere).

Purchase your simplyWokingham & Reading tickets from the Reading Buses website.  Make sure to filter Passengers to Young Person to select the Boost tickets.

MyBus Oxfordshire tickets

Customers who begin their journey in Oxfordshire on Reading Buses pink 25 and aqua 28 routes can purchase the MyBus Oxfordshire ticket which allows for unlimited travel for bus services all across Oxfordshire for either 1 or 7 days.
