Virtual Aspire Event 26th June 2024

Aspire

Are you interested in exploring opportunities to go to Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities? 

Would you like to find out more about:

  • The process of applying and what is involved
  • Widening participation
  • How we support
  • What universities are looking for in UCAS applications and personal statements

  • What opportunities are available at top universities

We are hosting an online event on the 26th June from 6pm, so you can find out the answers to these questions and much more!

Speakers include:

Our current SU President Eve Hoskin who has successful in being offered a place to study at the University of Cambridge this September, along with former students of The Henley College: 

  • Libby Hooper who is studying PPE at the University of Cambridge

  • Aaron Danton who is studying Computer Science at the University of Cambridge

  • Amin Royatvand Ghiasvand who is studying Theology, Religions & Philosophy of Religion at the University of Cambridge

Our Assistant Principal and Cambridge Alumni, Tristan Arnison will be hosting the event and will be joined by our highly experienced Oxbridge Coordinator, Dr Joanna Atkinson.

This event is designed to support and maximise the potential of motivated, gifted and talented students, preparing them for the top universities and the best possible future career opportunities. 

It will give prospective students the opportunity to hear more about the benefits of the Aspire programme as well as the support and resources available from the College.

The event will be hosted online via Microsoft Teams and will last for approximately 1 hour.

All attendees will have full information nearer the time, once the timetabling starts. 

All students will head to our Deanfield campus on the day where they will be greeted and directed to their first lesson by our welcome team.
