As part of the Goethe-Institut “German Week”, we invite students of GCSE German to a German afternoon at The Henley College!
Come and join us at The Henley College to celebrate the study of German and encourage students to opt for A-level German in the future. There will be a range of activities as well as a short presentation about The Henley College as a place of sixth form study.
This will allow students to explore future destination options. Of course, you can also register whole groups for the event. Teachers are welcome to accompany their students. Please register your interest here, and we look forward to welcoming you on Wednesday 21st January 2026!

We are pleased to share that we are planning to host a SEND Conference at The Henley College on:
Tuesday 10th February 2026
10:00am – 2:00pm
This event is designed to support transition into Further Education and to strengthen collaboration across the local network of SEND professionals. It will be particularly useful for colleagues working with students who may be returning to education or progressing from smaller, specialist or highly supported environments.
The Conference will include:
A guided tour of our extensive facilities, including our sensory room and inclusive learning spaces.
An introduction to our Senior Leadership Team and our SEND provision.
Discussion on supporting successful transitions into FE and addressing common misunderstandings around FE expectations.
An overview of how we embed inclusion within our curriculum and pastoral systems, aligned with the updated Ofsted framework.
Opportunities to network and share best practice.
A free lunch and welcome pack will be provided for all attending delegates.
We aim for this event to be both useful and enjoyable, providing clarity on what the Sixth Form environment looks like in practice, how independence is nurtured, and how support is co-ordinated to ensure students feel safe, included and able to succeed.
